Orange Chocolate Tapioca Pudding

This easy to make and delicious orange chocolate tapioca pudding is so amazing! It is sweetened with maple syrup and flavored with a hint of orange.

Step by Step method

  • Step 1

    In a saucepan, bring the plant milk to a boil.

  • Step 2

    Once boiling turn the heat to low, and add in tapioca granules. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until tapioca is transparent, stirring often.

  • Step 3

    Remove tapioca from heat. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, and orange extract and stir with a whisk until blended.

  • Step 4

    Pour into glass cups and refrigerate for two hours. Stir well before serving.

    Would it taste okay with a sweetened and/or flavored plant milk?

      Hi Andrea! I haven’t tried it with flavored/sweetened plant milk. Give it a try and let me know. If the milk is already sweetened you may need to reduce the amount of maple syrup.
